November 8 - The Northern Virginia Travel Baseball League (NVTBL) crowned champions in 11 fall division championship tournaments this past weekend.
The winners include: Virginia Stars Colangelo (8U Division), Loudoun South Eagles (9U), Arlington Arsenal Blue (10U), KOA Sports (11U Silver), Mount Vernon Patriots Maroon (11U Gold), Loudoun Aces 11U Blue (12U Silver), Fielder’s Choice (12U Gold), Stars Red (13U), Diamond Elite (14U), Moose 16U (JV) and NOVA Maddogs (varsity).
The NVTBL had 213 teams from ages 8U-12 and 194 teams from 13U through varsity level this fall. Approximately 5,500 players from 12 counties in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia participated in the league.
